Review

When I first saw the trailer for this series, I was really excited to see Kim Da-mi and Choi Woo Shik work on a project together after their film, 'The Witch Pt. 2', which is a stark contrast to this series' concept. They had great chemistry in their previous project and I'm a huge fan of Woo Shik.

Then, I saw actor Kim Sung Cheol and I wondered why are there these really good actors in a series which seems to have a very simple plot.

As you watch the series, you learn that although the plot is somewhat simple, all of the characters have this emotional depth that was beautifully portrayed by all the actors.

Every episode had me crying mostly because I could relate to Yeon-su. I absolutely loved the relationship dynamic between Yeon-Su and Choi Ung and I believe that they were made for each other. I loved Ji-Ung's backstory and how it influenced the decisions he made throughout his life. Sung Cheol is becoming one of my favourite actors.

Besides the absolutely beautiful scenes, I loved how the writers conveyed how the self-esteem of people can impact the relationship they have with others and influence the life choices they make.

I really, really enjoyed this series (even though I dropped it towards the end because things were getting happy). It opened my mind and I loved seeing these great actors display their amazing chemistry with each other.
